“When I met Caesar, I hadn't played piano in nearly 30 years and had ZERO experience with stringed instruments. Thanks to Caesar’s miracle working, Ive learned piano skills I had never known before such as comping on jazz standards and sight reading more than two voice harmonies.
Now I am competent enough to practice a variety of song styles on piano and bass guitar ranging from classical, to funk, to alternative rock.

“Caesar is the BEST!! Ever since I was in middle school, he’s been teaching me. With his help, I made it into my High School’s Jazz A Band, the highest level for my age. He’s taught me composition, improvisation, breathing skills, and everything else I know about both the piano and the saxophone. He’s also been so personable and just awesome in the process that no matter where my music journey goes, I know I’ll still consider him a friend.

After trying out a few different music instructors, we were lucky to find Caesar Martinez. His upbeat, fun personality helped our children feel comfortable and ready to learn. They looked forward to their piano and saxophone lessons because they liked spending time with him. His deep knowledge of music, his ability to teach at any level, and his successful career as a musician inspired my kids to learn and respect music as an art form. Caesar tutored all three of our children in piano, saxophone, flute, and clarinet. He inspired them to love music and encouraged them to go above and beyond what they thought they could accomplish. He also served as a counselor at their band camp and organized recitals where they had the opportunity to perform before large audiences of family and friends.
Through his dedication, encouragement, and genuine love of music, Caesar gave our children a shared language and experience that continues to bring them together. Caesar’s approach to teaching is disciplined yet kind and respectful. He never made music feel like a chore and always found a way to inspire and motivate our children.
If anyone has been thinking about music lessons for their kids, I can’t recommend Caesar highly enough. We feel incredibly fortunate that our kids had him as such an important part of their childhood, and I know there are a lot of families out there who would be just as grateful.
